Oproštaj od Milenka Savovića ne bi bio pravi da reč nije uzeo Željko Obradović. Najtrofejniji evropski trener više od 40 godina gradio je prijateljstvo sa “Svetim Savom”. Bili su veoma povezani, provodili su mnogo vremena zajedno, delili i dobro i loše. U Željkovom srcu od 1. marta postoji velika praznina, koju ništa neće moći da popuni. Na komemoraciji koja je danas održana u klubu sportista JSD Partizan Obradović je izneo detalje koji do sada nisu bili poznati, a prisetio se i već poznatih anegdota povezanih za Savovićem.

– Moje druženje sa Savom je počelo 1978. godine kada smo zaigrali za juniorsku reprezentaciju. Odmah je nešto kliknulo između nas, postali smo nerazdvojni i to prijateljstvo je trajalo sve ove godine – rekao je Obradović na početku obraćanja. – Najbitnije je bilo da smo jedan drugog uvek razumeli, pomagali jedan drugom… On je došao u Partizan pre mene, a ja 1984. godine. Ovde imam priliku da vidim saigrače koji su me sačekali, prihvatili na najbolji mogući način. Jedan od njih bio je i Savo.

Podsetio je Željko i na taj prvi period njihovog druženja, kojeg su se zajedno rado sećali.

– U teškim vremenima smo živeli tada, ali nam je bilo mnogo lepo. Nalazili smo se po stanovima. Sećam se kada je Boban Petrović prvi od svih nas dobio stan, nalazili smo se kod njega. Pravili smo žurke, spavali po krevetima, neki po podu i strunjačama. Ali, bilo nam je fantastično. Vodili smo računa jedni o drugima. U tom periodu ni Sava ni ja nismo imali auto. Pa smo se snalazili tako što smo jurili Bobana Petrovića ili Miška Marića, da nas voze na trening. A kad nisu mogli, onda smo išli autobusom. A kada se pojavi čovek od 2.10 m u autobusu, onda ljudi reaguju i čude se: “Otkud ovaj i šta radi on ovde?”.

Košarkaški tandem – Željko Obradović i Milenko Savović, bio je veoma blizak sa Bogdanom Diklićem.

– Nažalost Diklić danas nije mogao da bude sa nama. Počeli smo u to vreme intezivno nas trojica da se dužimo, od ujutru do uveče. Stalno smo išli zajedno i uvek smišljali razne šale. Nekad bi se navalili na mene, ja sam bio Cvrle jer sam najmanji, zvali su me Cvrčak. Diklića smo zvali Ćoro zbog naočara, a Savi smo uvek govorili da nije normalan… Jer da jeste ne bi imao dva metra i 10 cm. Ono što je bilo fancinantno gde god smo se pojavljivali, Sava je privlačio pažnju zbog njegovog izgleda. Prav kao strela, lep, a bogami umeo je lepo i da priča i ostavlja utisak na žensku populaciju.

Pričao je Željko i o anegdotama iz kafane…

– Jednom kad smo sedeli, ja sam uspeo da neku pesmu prepevam da bih mu objasnio kako na njega reaguju… “Imam kuma, lepši je od mene, njega vole devojke i žene. Lepši mu je život nego bajka, lepotana rodila ga majka.” Znam da je tu negde priča došla i do Nene. A ona ponosna shvatila je da joj žene zavide kakvog muža ima. Ceo život je bio roker. Sve nas je uveo u rokenrol, po mnogim stvarima smo se ugledali na njega. Imali smo nas trojica naše interne priče, uvek atakovali jedan na drugog. Uvek je neko od nas bio predmet šale i to je bilo nešto najlepše u našem druženju.

Najveći evropski uspeh Partizana takođe im je jedna od najdražih zajedničkih uspomena.

– Kad smo završavali karijeru, Kića je osetio neke stvari i postavio Savu za sportskog direktora. To je bila godina kada smo uspeli da napravimo neverovatan rezultat i budemo prvaci Evrope. Savine zasluge su bile neverovatne. Znam koliko je meni pomagao u odnosu sa igračima, jer mi je bila prva godina. Koliko je uspeo da uspostavi odnos sa svim igračima i ljudima koji su radili u klubu. Njegova najveća zasluga je što smo uspeli da igramo u Fuenlabradi, on je seo na avion, otišao i pripremio sve za nas. U dogovoru sa čovekom, koji se zove Hoze Kintana, koji mi se javio pre neki dan, kada je čuo da je Sava umro. Nas su zvali Partizan iz Fuenlabrade…

Koliko mu je Savović značio dovoljno opisuju sledeće reči:

– Nastavili smo posle toga da sarađujemo u reprezentaciji, meni je uvek njegovo mišljenje bilo važno. Kao što svako od nas ima nekog do čijeg ti je mišljenja stalo i koga slušaš. Uvek smo bili na vezi, uvek sam ga zvao u najtežim trenucima u životu. To je valjda tako kad nekome veruješ, kada ti je drag i kada znaš da ti neće reći ono što želiš da čuješ, nego istinu.

O Savovićevoj ljudskoj veličini govori i priča koju je Željko čuo pre nekoliko dana.

– Desilo se da sam se zatekao u Čačku kada mi je stigla vest da Save više nema. Brat mi je ispričao priču za koju nisam znao. Kada smo se vratili sa fajnal-fora u Istanbulu, sačekao me je moj otac i brat. I kaže mi da kada sam se tad okrenuo, i nisam video situaciju, da je Sava izvadio novac da im da da se vrate za Čačak. To mi je tad tek ispričao.

Voleo je pesme i muziku, pa mu je drug pesmu i posvetio na radiju.

– Imamo dobre prijatelje u Čačku, pa sam jednog drugara koji ima radio stanicu zamolio da pusti jednu pesmu koju je Sava obožavao od Električnog orgazma. To je radio stanica narodne muzike, ali su pustili pesmu koju je Sava obožavao – Igraj vudu. Svi moji ljudi iz Čačka koji su čuli to, zvali su me i zahvaljujem svima što su meni i porodici izrazili saučešće i što su znali kakav je bio čovek.

Mnogo je ljudi ispratilo Savovića na sahrani u njegovom rodnom gradu. Svima je Obradović veoma zahvalan…

– Taj dan na groblju u Trebinju, posle sahrane mi je prišao jedan čovek, gospodin Aleksić, koji je bio Savin prvi trener. Ispričao mi je kakav je bio Sava u tom periodu… To je čovek koji je otac heroja iz Trebinja, koji je poginuo na nestvaran način. Ja sam iskoristio priliku da mu čestitam na tome. On mi je održao lekciju iz života. Rekao mi je: “Moj sin i danas živi zahvaljujući vama i svim ljudima koji ga i dalje pominju”. Ja se nadam da ćemo mi nastaviti da pominjemo Savu jer je on to sigurno zaslužio.  Mnogo je lepih trenutaka koje smo provali zajedno. Bilo je i teških momenata, ali na kraju verujem da svi mi koji smo ovde, znamo kakav je čovek bio. I kakav je trag ostavio iza sebe. Došli smo do toga i da budemo kumovi. Kad se ženio 1989. godine… Posle je dobio Saru 1993. godine, koja je preslikana tata… Mnogo smo se radovali u tim trenucima jer smo bili vezani.

Za kraj, Željko je poslao svima jasnu poruku.

– Juče sam se čuo sa njegovom sestrom Dubravkom i zetom, pitali su oko organizacije ovog skupa. Rekao sam da će to da bude sve u redu, nismo mogli da stignu. Ponavljam svima, kao što sam rekao i njegovoj sestri, Sava će živeti sa nama, uspomena na njega će uvek trajati, nećemo ga zaboraviti. Ja bih voleo da se malim aplauzom oprostimo od mog kuma i velikog čoveka Save. Nikada ga nisam nazvao njegovim pravim imenom – završio je Željko emotivno obraćanje kada se prostorijom prolomio jak aplauz u čast legendarnog Milenka Savovića.

Oproštaj od Milenka Savovića ne bi bio pravi da reč nije uzeo Željko Obradović. Najtrofejniji evropski trener više od 40 godina gradio je prijateljstvo sa “Svetim Savom”. Bili su veoma povezani, provodili su mnogo vremena zajedno, delili i dobro i loše. U Željkovom srcu od 1. marta postoji velika praznina, koju ništa neće moći da popuni. Na komemoraciji koja je danas održana u klubu sportista JSD Partizan Obradović je izneo detalje koji do sada nisu bili poznati, a prisetio se i već poznatih anegdota povezanih za Savovićem.

– Moje druženje sa Savom je počelo 1978. godine kada smo zaigrali za juniorsku reprezentaciju. Odmah je nešto kliknulo između nas, postali smo nerazdvojni i to prijateljstvo je trajalo sve ove godine – rekao je Obradović na početku obraćanja. – Najbitnije je bilo da smo jedan drugog uvek razumeli, pomagali jedan drugom… On je došao u Partizan pre mene, a ja 1984. godine. Ovde imam priliku da vidim saigrače koji su me sačekali, prihvatili na najbolji mogući način. Jedan od njih bio je i Savo.

Podsetio je Željko i na taj prvi period njihovog druženja, kojeg su se zajedno rado sećali.

– U teškim vremenima smo živeli tada, ali nam je bilo mnogo lepo. Nalazili smo se po stanovima. Sećam se kada je Boban Petrović prvi od svih nas dobio stan, nalazili smo se kod njega. Pravili smo žurke, spavali po krevetima, neki po podu i strunjačama. Ali, bilo nam je fantastično. Vodili smo računa jedni o drugima. U tom periodu ni Sava ni ja nismo imali auto. Pa smo se snalazili tako što smo jurili Bobana Petrovića ili Miška Marića, da nas voze na trening. A kad nisu mogli, onda smo išli autobusom. A kada se pojavi čovek od 2.10 m u autobusu, onda ljudi reaguju i čude se: “Otkud ovaj i šta radi on ovde?”.

Košarkaški tandem – Željko Obradović i Milenko Savović, bio je veoma blizak sa Bogdanom Diklićem.

– Nažalost Diklić danas nije mogao da bude sa nama. Počeli smo u to vreme intezivno nas trojica da se dužimo, od ujutru do uveče. Stalno smo išli zajedno i uvek smišljali razne šale. Nekad bi se navalili na mene, ja sam bio Cvrle jer sam najmanji, zvali su me Cvrčak. Diklića smo zvali Ćoro zbog naočara, a Savi smo uvek govorili da nije normalan… Jer da jeste ne bi imao dva metra i 10 cm. Ono što je bilo fancinantno gde god smo se pojavljivali, Sava je privlačio pažnju zbog njegovog izgleda. Prav kao strela, lep, a bogami umeo je lepo i da priča i ostavlja utisak na žensku populaciju.

Pričao je Željko i o anegdotama iz kafane…

– Jednom kad smo sedeli, ja sam uspeo da neku pesmu prepevam da bih mu objasnio kako na njega reaguju… “Imam kuma, lepši je od mene, njega vole devojke i žene. Lepši mu je život nego bajka, lepotana rodila ga majka.” Znam da je tu negde priča došla i do Nene. A ona ponosna shvatila je da joj žene zavide kakvog muža ima. Ceo život je bio roker. Sve nas je uveo u rokenrol, po mnogim stvarima smo se ugledali na njega. Imali smo nas trojica naše interne priče, uvek atakovali jedan na drugog. Uvek je neko od nas bio predmet šale i to je bilo nešto najlepše u našem druženju.

Najveći evropski uspeh Partizana takođe im je jedna od najdražih zajedničkih uspomena.

– Kad smo završavali karijeru, Kića je osetio neke stvari i postavio Savu za sportskog direktora. To je bila godina kada smo uspeli da napravimo neverovatan rezultat i budemo prvaci Evrope. Savine zasluge su bile neverovatne. Znam koliko je meni pomagao u odnosu sa igračima, jer mi je bila prva godina. Koliko je uspeo da uspostavi odnos sa svim igračima i ljudima koji su radili u klubu. Njegova najveća zasluga je što smo uspeli da igramo u Fuenlabradi, on je seo na avion, otišao i pripremio sve za nas. U dogovoru sa čovekom, koji se zove Hoze Kintana, koji mi se javio pre neki dan, kada je čuo da je Sava umro. Nas su zvali Partizan iz Fuenlabrade…

Koliko mu je Savović značio dovoljno opisuju sledeće reči:

– Nastavili smo posle toga da sarađujemo u reprezentaciji, meni je uvek njegovo mišljenje bilo važno. Kao što svako od nas ima nekog do čijeg ti je mišljenja stalo i koga slušaš. Uvek smo bili na vezi, uvek sam ga zvao u najtežim trenucima u životu. To je valjda tako kad nekome veruješ, kada ti je drag i kada znaš da ti neće reći ono što želiš da čuješ, nego istinu.

O Savovićevoj ljudskoj veličini govori i priča koju je Željko čuo pre nekoliko dana.

– Desilo se da sam se zatekao u Čačku kada mi je stigla vest da Save više nema. Brat mi je ispričao priču za koju nisam znao. Kada smo se vratili sa fajnal-fora u Istanbulu, sačekao me je moj otac i brat. I kaže mi da kada sam se tad okrenuo, i nisam video situaciju, da je Sava izvadio novac da im da da se vrate za Čačak. To mi je tad tek ispričao.

Voleo je pesme i muziku, pa mu je drug pesmu i posvetio na radiju.

– Imamo dobre prijatelje u Čačku, pa sam jednog drugara koji ima radio stanicu zamolio da pusti jednu pesmu koju je Sava obožavao od Električnog orgazma. To je radio stanica narodne muzike, ali su pustili pesmu koju je Sava obožavao – Igraj vudu. Svi moji ljudi iz Čačka koji su čuli to, zvali su me i zahvaljujem svima što su meni i porodici izrazili saučešće i što su znali kakav je bio čovek.

Mnogo je ljudi ispratilo Savovića na sahrani u njegovom rodnom gradu. Svima je Obradović veoma zahvalan…

– Taj dan na groblju u Trebinju, posle sahrane mi je prišao jedan čovek, gospodin Aleksić, koji je bio Savin prvi trener. Ispričao mi je kakav je bio Sava u tom periodu… To je čovek koji je otac heroja iz Trebinja, koji je poginuo na nestvaran način. Ja sam iskoristio priliku da mu čestitam na tome. On mi je održao lekciju iz života. Rekao mi je: “Moj sin i danas živi zahvaljujući vama i svim ljudima koji ga i dalje pominju”. Ja se nadam da ćemo mi nastaviti da pominjemo Savu jer je on to sigurno zaslužio.  Mnogo je lepih trenutaka koje smo provali zajedno. Bilo je i teških momenata, ali na kraju verujem da svi mi koji smo ovde, znamo kakav je čovek bio. I kakav je trag ostavio iza sebe. Došli smo do toga i da budemo kumovi. Kad se ženio 1989. godine… Posle je dobio Saru 1993. godine, koja je preslikana tata… Mnogo smo se radovali u tim trenucima jer smo bili vezani.

Za kraj, Željko je poslao svima jasnu poruku.

– Juče sam se čuo sa njegovom sestrom Dubravkom i zetom, pitali su oko organizacije ovog skupa. Rekao sam da će to da bude sve u redu, nismo mogli da stignu. Ponavljam svima, kao što sam rekao i njegovoj sestri, Sava će živeti sa nama, uspomena na njega će uvek trajati, nećemo ga zaboraviti. Ja bih voleo da se malim aplauzom oprostimo od mog kuma i velikog čoveka Save. Nikada ga nisam nazvao njegovim pravim imenom – završio je Željko emotivno obraćanje kada se prostorijom prolomio jak aplauz u čast legendarnog Milenka Savovića.
