Predstavnici Čačka uspešno su startovali na državnom prvenstvu Sportskih igara mladih (SIM) na Brzeću, najvećoj manifestaciji amaterskog sporta u Evropi. U konkurenciji 27 gradova i opština, odnosno više od 300 takmičara, medalje su osvojile Čačanke Selena Ilić u šahu (2. mesto) i Sara Đunisijević u tenisu (2. mesto). Njih dve će predstavljati Čačak i Srbiju na regionalnom takmičenju u Splitu. Bronzanim odličjima su se okitili Saša Dragin i Teodora Polužić u stonom tenisu. Najbolji takmičari iz Srbije snage će odmeravati i naredna dva vikenda. – Posebno želim da naglasim da je nama kao organizatorima ove velike manifestacije, na prvom mestu bila bezbednost i zdravstvena sigurnost takmičara i njihovih pratilaca. Zbog toga su primenjene rigorozne epidemiološke mere i trebe pohvaliti Čačane koji su se pridržavali svih propisanih mera, bili sjajni na sportskim terenima, poštovali fer plej i na najbolji mogući način bili predstavnici grada i čačanskog sporta – izjavila je agenciji MNA koordinatorka igara za Čačak i članica organizacionog odbora SIM Ivana Vukajlović. na se zahvalila svim klubovima i trenerima dece koja su se takmičila, njihovim roditeljima, predstavnicima grada Čačka i velikom timu ljudi koji je bio uključen u organizaciju državnog prvenstva. – Sledećeg vikenda nas očekuju takmičenja u malom fudbalu za dečake i devojčice, a od 25 – 27. septembra, Čačak će predstavljati devojčice na turniru u odbojci i bič voleju, kao i dečaci u uličnoj košarci. To su deca rođena 2005. godine i mlađa. Očekujem dobre rezultate i medalje, kako bi naša ekspedicija u Splitu bila što brojnija i uspešnija – naglasila je Vukajlović. Osnovni cilj manifestacije je promocija zdravog načina života i prijateljstva. Već sedam godina, deci iz Srbije, omogućeno je potpuno besplatno učestvovanje u takmičenjima, u deset sportskih disciplina – mali fudbal, odbojka na pesku, ulični basket, rukomet, odbojka, igra između dve vatre, stoni tenis, tenis, atletika i šah.
