Dvogodišnja Anika Manić boluje od retke bolesti – spinalne muskularne atrofije. Od svog drugog meseca Anika prima terapiju koja može da uspori progres bolesti. Na žalost, njeno disanje je sve slabije i potrebno je više aparata i pomoći da se održi u životu. Anika je danas motorički stabilna zahvaljujući terapiji koju trenutno prima ali na žalost ta terapija joj nije pomogla što se tiče disanja i gutanja, odnosno vitalnih funkcija za održavanje života. “Mora da koristi i aparate za inhalaciju, noću koristi aparat koji pomaže da diše dok spava”, kaže majka male Anike. Prema njenim rečima bolest uzima maha i rešili su da se bore prikupljanjem sredstava za lečenje. “Prikupljeni novac će se iskoristiti za inovativnu terapiju “Zolgensma” koja deluje na celo telo i može da povrati izgubljene funkcije ako se terapija primi što pre”, objašnjava majka. Porodica je u kontaktu sa bolnicom koja čeka na Aniku da joj da lek i jedino što se čeka je novac koji treba da se sakupi. Lek “Zolgensma” koji treba Aniki je najskuplji lek na svetu koji košta neverovatnih 2,1 miliona evra. “Prikupljanje novca preko fonadacje “Budi human” vidimo kao poslednju šansu da Anika živi lep i dug život”, poručuje Anikina mama. Zahvaljuje svim humanim ljudima dobre volje koji su se uključili i podržali Anikinu borbu i RTS-u na ukazanoj prilici da podele Anikinu priču sa celom Srbijom.
