Mešoviti vojno-civilni aerodrom za međunarodni vazdušni saobraćaj „Morava“, danas je zvanično otvoren za civilni saobraćaj. Otvaranju aerodroma prisustvovao je državni vrh Srbije, a upriličen je i nalet avioni „Orao J22“ i „MIG 29“. Na aerodrom „Morava“ danas je sleteo prvi putnički avion ATR 72 kompanije Er Srbija, u kom su se nalazili učesnici i gosti današnje ceremonije. Na aerodromu već radi 37 radnika koji su završili obuku u Nišu, a plan je da ih bude 51. Zaključno sa 2012. godinom u izgradnju ovog aerodroma uloženo je 15.000.000 evra. U ovoj godini Vlada Srbije uložiće dodatnih 12.000.000 evra za opremanje aerodroma i dobijanje neophodnih sertifikata Direktorata za civilno vazduhoplovstvo, čime će i zvanično biti stavljen u krajnju funkciju. Prema procenama, ovom aerodromu gravitira oko 1.000.000 ljudi. U toku su pregovori sa avio kompanijama oko uspostavljanja avio linija, koje će prema najavama nadležnih krenuti tokom zime. Najveće interesovanje vlada za Tursku i Nemačku. Ceremoniji otvaranja aerodroma prisustvovale su brojne zvanice i građani iz Kraljeva, Čačka i drugih mesta.
