Na samo četiri kilometra od Berkasova kod Šida, u dolini opasan šumom, vinogradima i voćnjacima, promalja se novoproglašeni ženski manastir Sveta Petka. Pre tačno deceniju, dolaskom dve monahinje iz Amerike počela je obnova crkve i izgradnja konaka, da bi danas u njemu boravili četiri monahinje i otac Gavrilo koji se davne 1963. godine zamonašio u Dečanima. Fruška gora koja je od davnina bogata svetilištima, poslednjih 15 godina i zvanično ima status svete gore, po kojoj je ušuškano 16 živih srednjovekovnih pravoslavnih manastira. Najveći broj ovih svetinja sagrađen je u 15. i 16. veku, kada ih je u tom periodu postojalo čak 35, od tog broja 19 se danas nalazi u ruševinama. Poslednjih deset godina ova planinska lepotica bogatija je za pet novih manastira, a jedan od njih je i manastir Sveta Petka, udaljen dva kilometra od nekadašnjeg graničnog prelaza sa Hrvatskom, kod Bapske. Igumanija novog manastira Anisija kaže da posao obnove nije bio nimalo lak, prisećajući se tih početaka i vremena kada je sestrinstvo jelo iz jednog tanjira dok se manastir uzdizao. – Kada smo monahinja Eliseja i ja stigle 2007. godine postojala je samo ruinirana crkva i početak konaka. Jedna tužna i žalosna slika. Nije bilo struje a ni vode. Bez dvoumljenja smo pristale da ostanemo i polako smo krenule u njegovu obnovu. Tri meseca smo bile smeštene kod bake Mirjane Tadić u selu, kod nje smo noćile, a danju smo raspremale, čistile i spremale za početak radova – priča mati Anisija, koja je pre toga dve i po godine boravila u Indijani, u stavropigijalnom manastiru Patrijarha Pavla, a onda rešila da dođe u Srbiju u jedan od pravoslavnih manastira. Kada su uspele za veoma kratko vreme da adaptiraju dve sobice, i narednih četiri godine nisu imale struju, već su koristile agregat, ali ni tada se nisu obeshrabrile i plašile samoće. – Već 2009. godine iz Amerike nam se pridružio i otac Gavrilo. Godinu dana kasnije dolazi moja majka kao iskušenica Mirjana, a ona je danas monahinja Agapija, i 2013. pridružila nam se još jedna tada iskušenica Katarina, koja je sada monahinja Efrosinija – kaže Anisija, koja je rodom iz Prilepa a na Božji poziv odgovorila je odmah nakon završetka Pedagoškog fakulteta u ranim dvadesetim godinama. ČUDOTVORNI IZVOR I GLUVONEMA ČOBANICA Kompleks manastira čine novoizgrađeni konaci i crkva, u kojoj se trenutno izvode radovi na freskama. Crkva se, prema pisanim dokumentima, prvi put pominje u drugoj polovini 19. veka, a ispod njenog oltara nalazi se „lekoviti“ i „čudotvorni“ izvor. Nad izvorom je prvo bila crkva brvnara, koja je 1863. godine izgorela, a kasnije je podignuta današnja crkva, koja je do 2008. bila deo parohijske crkve u Berkasovu. Uklesani natpis na mramornoj ploči koji potiče od jednog Dubrovčanina izlečenog od teške bolesti, jedan je od nekoliko natpisa zahvalnosti koji svedoči o lekovitosti ove vode. Iako je dosta izolovan od puteva koji vezuju fruškogorske manastire, pored meštana ovu svetinju posećuju i mnogobrojni turisti. Prema priči igumanije Anisije, „čudotvorni“ izvor otkriven je davnih vekova, kada je gluvonema čobanica u tom potesu, koji je bio dosta sušan, čuvala ovce. – Ona se suzama molila Bogu da pošalje spas za njeno stado. Tada joj se prikazala Sveta Petka, koja joj je rekla da se moli uz njenu ikonu. Jedno veče kada je trebalo ponovo da vrati ovce u selo, podigla je ikonu i videla da je zemlja mokra, malo je raščeprkala i tada se pojavio mlaz vode. Onog trenutka kada je popila odmah je progovorila – govori mati Anisija starešina novog manastira.
