U organizaciji Srpskog lekarskog društva, podružnice Užice i pod
pokroviteljstvom grada počeli su jubilarni 50-ti “Užički lekarski dani”. Teme
ovogodišnjeg stručnog skupa i sastanka lekara iz cele Srbije u Užicu su
poremećaj stanja svesti, gojaznost i dijabet sa komplikacijama. Kao esnafsko i profesionalnno udruženje, Srpsko lekarsko društvo, svoju prvu veći podružnicu osnovalo je upravo u Užicu. Od 1969. godine, već pola veka, i to kontinuirano pod pokroviteljstvom grada, podružnica u Užicu organizuje “Užičke lekarske dane”. „Svojevremeno su Užički lekarski dani bili mesto okupljanja i druženja lekara Zlatiborskog okruga, a poslednjih godina akcenat je stavljen na stručnu komponentu ovog skupa i sastanka lekara iz cele Srbije. Svake godine ovde su eminentna imena profesora sa Medicinskog fakulteta i zdravstvenih centara širom Srbije. Čast nam je ove godine i da ugostimo akademika Radoja Čolovića, predsednika Srpskog lekarskog društva, što bez sumnje daje na značaju ovom skupu, ove godine jubilarnom. Pola veka trajemo, a najvažnije je da tradicija nije izneverena i da mladje kolege prihvataju da nastave ono što su pre pola veka osmislili tada vodeći lekari u Srbiji i Regionu“, rekao je otvarajući Užičke lekarske , direktor Zdrtavstvenog centra Užice, prim. dr Miloš Božović Srpsko lekarsko društvo, danas inače sa svojih 80 podružnica u Srbiji,
osnovano je još 1872. godine, upravo sa ciljem da se obezbedi kontinuirana
edukacija lekara na našem prostoru. „Mi jako puno polažemo na kontinuiranu medicinsku edukaciju, koja je, srećom, u suštini i ranije bila obavezna, ali se sada efikasnije kontroliše. Na 5 do 6 godina svaki lekar mora da obnovi licencu, a da bi je obnovio mora da skupi i odredjeni broj bodova. Izmedju ostalog, prisustvom lekara na ovakvim skupovima stiče se odredjeni broj bodova jer su ovakvi stručni skupovi vrlo važni za edukaciju lekara i razmenu iskustava medju njima“, istako je akademik, prof. dr Radoje Čolović, predsednik Srpskog lekarskog društva. Na 50-tim Užičkim lekarskim danima akademik Čolović govoriće o istoriji Srpskog lekarskog društva koje uskoro slavi 150 godina rada i postojanja. Stručne teme ovogodišnjeg skupa lekara u Užicu su poremećaj stanja svesti, gojaznost i dijabet sa komplikacijama. “Odlučili smo se ove godine da na “Užičkim danima” govorimo o onim temama koje su deo svakodnevice, ne samo u našoj leklarskoj praksi već i u životu samih gradjana. Za sve nas susret sa poremećajem u stanju svesti nešto je vrlo dramatično, često i panično. Svakako od eminentnih predavača i stručnjaka u toj oblasti čućemo na ovom skupu kako da se tada ponašamo, mi kao srtučni kadar ali i sami gradjani. Cela stvar je u ideji da jedni drugima pomognemo“, kaže prim. dr Biljana Tomić predsednica Srpskog lekarskog društva – podružnice Užice. Užički lekarski dani organizuju se pod pokroviteljstvom grada Užica i deo su zvaničnog programa obeležavanja Dana grada, a ove godine ponovo je štampan i Zbornik radova sa jubilarnih 50-tih Užičkih lekarskih dana.
