U okviru petog kola Košarkaške lige
Srbije košarkaši užičke Slobode gostuju u Kragujevcu gde se sastaju sa
Radničkim. Utakmica se igra u subotu od 19,30 u
sportskoj hali Jezero . U prethodno kolu Užičani su na svom
terenu u Velikom parku izgubili od lidera na tabeli ekipe Zlatibora iz
Čajetine. I ovog puta prevagnulo je iskustvo komšija i starih sportskih
prijatelja. Vladimir Lučić trener ističe: -Mislim da smo dosta dobro parirali
Zlatiboru posebno u prvom poluvremenu gde smo jednu od najefikasnijih ekipa
sveli na 31 poen, minut do kraja poluvremena. Međutim veliki broj promašenih
slobodnih bacanja pri kraju prvog poluvremena, i onda dve trojke vezane
Zlatibora i prednost plus tri. Usledila je jako loša treća četvrtina, uspeli
smo nešto da se vratimo u igru, ali je Zlatibor rutinski priveo utakmicu kraju.
Dosta su kvalitetnija, iskusnija ekipa u ovom trenutku i sasvim zaslužena
pobeda. Već u subotu Užičane čeka novi
ispit. U pitanju je još jedna iskusna i dobra ekipa koja u svojim redovima ima
proverene i vrsne košarkaše. Aleksandar
Ilikić ističe da su svesni da ih očekuje još jedna teška i iscrpljujuća
utakmica: -Vežbamao, treniramo, pokušavamo u
hodu da prevaziđemo probleme koji nas snalaze. Mlada smo ekipa i verujem da će
sve to biti kako treba. U Kragujevac idemo da pružimo maksimum, iako znamo da
će Radnički predvođeni bivšim reprezentativcem Raškom Katićem učiniti sve da
slave na svom terenu. Igrali smo pripremnu utakmicu protiv njih tako da znamo
gde nam najviše preti opasnost. Trener Slobode Vladimir Lučić ima i
dodatnu brigu zbog povrede -jednog od stožera ekipe, Dimitrija Nikolića.
Nikolić je tokom utakmice sa Zlatiborom polomio rebro, tako da će duže biti
odsutan sa terena.
