Košarkaši Slobode u okviru 15. kola Košarkaške lige Srbije na svom terenu dočekuju ekipu Pirota. Utakmica se igra u petak od 17 časova u sportskoj hali „Veliki park“. Sve je lakše I lepše kada se pobeđuje. A užički košarkaši upravo to čine. Posle pobede nad OKK Beogradom na svom terenu slavili su samo posle nekoliko dana I na gostovanju u Valjevu protiv domaćeg Metalca. Sada im u Veliki park stiže ekipa Pirota. Aleksa Stepanović košarkaš KK Sloboda kaže da će dati sve od sebe da nastave pobednički niz: -Ekipa Pirota je jedna iskusna ekipa, imaju par igrača, Pantić na centru, Đorđević, Đukanović… Igraju brzo sa dosta šeteva, dosta trojki, tako da moramo to da zaustavimo kako bismo pobedili utakmicu. Od dolaska Olivera Popovica na vrucu trenersku klupu uzickog ABA 2 ligasa kosarkasi Slobode nizu samo pobede. Zabelezili su sest pobeda u KLS, a na prvom turniru ABA 2 lige koji je odigran na Zlatiboru od cetiri utakmice pobedili su tri. Sada ih ceka novi izazov I jos jedna iskusna ekipa. Jovan Vojinović takođe se nada pobedi: -Mislim da je stvar na nama, da moramo da uđemo u utakmicu sa pravim pristupom i sa željom da još jednim slavljem krunišemo ovaj pobednički niz od šest dobijenih utakmica u KLS-u. Strateg Užičana Oliver Popović podseca da je na utakmici u Valjevu bio zadovoljan rezultatom ali ne i igrom svojih pulena: -Na utakmici u Valjevu zadovoljan sam samo sa 15 minuta igre a sve ostalo je bilo otaljavanje posla, a to tako ne možemo. Srećom imamo prostora dosta da napredujemo, nadam se da ćemo te neke loše stvari koje su bile ispraviti i spremno dočekati Pirot. Neće to biti ni malo laka utakmica. To što tabela polazuje da su u donjem delu, ne govori ništa. Do kraja godine košarkaši Slobode će najverovatnije odigrati i zaostalu utakmicu sa ekipom Mladosti, a kada će biti odigrana i druga zaostala utakmica sa ekipom Vršca naknadno će biti saopšetno.
