Svetlost dana je napokon ugledao film “Ime naroda”. Velika očekivanja, uprkos iskrenim nadanjima, nisu ispunjena. Ljubomir Bandović je odlično izneo svoju prvu naslovnu rolu na velikom platnu i svojom glumačkom interpretacijom Svetozara Miletića će sigurno uticati na viđenje tog srpskog velikana u široj javnosti. Prava je šteta to što nam, shodno scenariju, premalo vremena predstavlja Miletića na vrhuncu političke karijere i u naponu životne snage, a većma ostarelog, umornog i duševno rastrojenog starca.

Anja Pavićević je opravdala poverenje reditelja i rolom mlade Milice Tomić je uspešno trasirala put svoje dalje glumačke karijere, a o Miletićevu ćerku i urednicu “Zastave” ni i kom slučaju se nije ogrešila ni Katarina Žutić koja je interpretirala njen lik u zrelijem dobu.

I na tom mestu se otprilike iscrpljuje pohvalni deo osvrta na kasting i glumačke domete filma. Andrija Kuzmanović definitivno predstavlja pogrešan izbor za ulogu Jaše Tomića, koju uprkos uloženom trudu ne može da iznese. Prava je šteta što za tu važnu rolu nije angažovan Nebojša Savić, koji je u predstavi “Svetozar” Srpskog narodnog pozorišta, razvijenoj iz istog predloška Milovana Vitezovića, glumeći Jašu Tomića ostvario ulogu života.

No, to je već konzistentno sa još teže objašnjivom odlukom da susrete Jaše i Milice prati muzička tema bazirana na internacionali (?!). 

Način na koji Radovan Vujović interpretira Mišu Dimitrijevića je gotovo karikaturalan, ali verovatno nije ni mogao da izvuče više iz uloge arhetipskog negativca koja mu je scenarijom dodeljena, dok se u slučaju Žarka Lauševića u ulozi Jovana Jovanovića Zmaja, gledalac ne može oteti utisku da preko volje i bez mrvice entuzijazma interpretira veoma slabo napisanu ulogu Jove Zmaja. O ostalim glumačkim rolama prosto ne vredi trošiti reči.

Za fotografiju, zvuk i kostim se može reći da zaslužuju prelaznu ocenu, ali ne i za scenografiju, koju oslikava veoma niske produkcijske kapacitete, jednako kao i izrazita svedenost mnogih scena koje prosto vape za širim kadrom i većim brojem statista.

Svetozar Miletić nije bio oduševljen jugoslovenskom idejom kao što je u filmu predstavljeno. Iako tokom 19. veka ideja ujedinjenja južnih Slovena jeste bila dominantna među srpskim prvacima, Miletić je veoma precizno i proročki prepoznao opasnost od hrvatskih megalomanskih ideja i opasnost od delovanja njihove politike prema Srbima. Prenaglašeni su i momenti njegove slabosti i bolesti, a premalo vremena je posvećeno Miletićevom usponu, mladim danima, radu i uspesima koji su i navukli pizmu ugarskih vlasti. 

Jaša Tomić, iako nesumnjivo velikan naše istorije, predstavljen je u romantizovanom vidu. Njegove vrline su prenaglašene, a mane potcenjene. Sukob sa Mišom Dimitrijevićem je opisan jednostrano, dok je istorijska činjenica da je Tomić pripremao i umišljajno izvršio ubistvo svog političkog protivnika prećutana. Najozbiljniji promašaj svakako je angažman Nikole Ristanovskog, koji glumi Tomića u poznim godinama sa makedonskim akcentom koji ni ne pokušava da prikrije, a sam govor je prepun jugoslovenskih teza, sa premalo osvrta na srpsku borbu.

Najveća zamerka filmu je portretisanje Miše Dimitrijevića. Ovaj velikan srpske političke borbe je predstavljen kao oholi makijavelista, željan režimskih privilegija, sklon prevarama i trulim kompromisima. Što je sve veoma daleko od istine. Dimitrijević je bio uspešan pravnik, umešan političar, iskreni patriota, čija je borba za srpsku stvar zapravo bila osetno učinkovitija od Tomićeve. Ovakav portret polaznik Tekelijanuma nikako nije zaslužio. Srpski narod mora znati istinu o njegovom pregalaštvu i zaslugama i stručna javnost, kao i umetnički, rodoljubivi krugovi, ne bi smeli ostati nemi na ovakvu nepravdu. 

Iako je dobro što Jovana Jovanovića Zmaja predstavljaju u svetlu nacionalnog delatnika, tvorci filma su suviše slobodno interpretirali njegovo držanje koje je zapravo bilo daleko čvršće i uverljivije. 

Predstavljanje Milice Miletić u svetlu labilne kokete sa prenaglašenim erotskim scenama, potpuno je suvišno. Iako takav pristup jeste prijemčiv široj publici, ovakav prikaz je na samoj granici dobrog ukusa.

Nekoliko elemenata narušava i autentičnost. Nijedan glumac ne koristi novosadski akcenat u flmu, Dragan Petrović u ulozi premijera Tise potpuno bespotrebno koristi srpski sa mađarskim izgovorom, dok u nekoliko scena epizodisti mađarski jezik koriste bez i naznake pravilnog izgovora.

Možda bi autentičnost više došla do izražaja da je barem neka od ključnih rola pripala glumcima iz srpske Vojvodine, umesto što su sasvim slučajno i Svetozara i Milicu Miletić i čika Jovu Zmaja i kapetana Manojlovića – glumili umetnici iz Crne Gore. 

Posebno intrigantan momenat koji govori o grubim propustima u pripremi tima jeste što se na više mesta u odjavnoj špici, autori zahvaljuju nepostojećoj instituciji “Vladi AP Vojvodine”, iako, je statutarni i ustavni termin Pokrajinska vlada. Gruba omaška sa političkom implikacijom koja vređa sve Srbe sa severa države. 

Uz zaključak da je dobro što je Miletić napokon ekranizovan, zamerke na suštinske fakte i važne detalje prete da nadjačaju konačan utisak.

Srpski narod mora znati istinu o njegovom pregalaštvu i zaslugama i stručna javnost, kao i umetnički, rodoljubivi krugovi, ne bi smeli ostati nemi na ovakvu nepravdu. 

Iako je dobro što Jovana Jovanovića Zmaja predstavljaju u svetlu nacionalnog delatnika, tvorci filma su suviše slobodno interpretirali njegovo držanje koje je zapravo bilo daleko čvršće i uverljivije. 

Predstavljanje Milice Miletić u svetlu labilne kokete sa prenaglašenim erotskim scenama, potpuno je suvišno. Iako takav pristup jeste prijemčiv široj publici, ovakav prikaz je na samoj granici dobrog ukusa.

Nekoliko elemenata narušava i autentičnost. Nijedan glumac ne koristi novosadski akcenat u flmu, Dragan Petrović u ulozi premijera Tise potpuno bespotrebno koristi srpski sa mađarskim izgovorom, dok u nekoliko scena epizodisti mađarski jezik koriste bez i naznake pravilnog izgovora.

Možda bi autentičnost više došla do izražaja da je barem neka od ključnih rola pripala glumcima iz srpske Vojvodine, umesto što su sasvim slučajno i Svetozara i Milicu Miletić i čika Jovu Zmaja i kapetana Manojlovića – glumili umetnici iz Crne Gore. 

Posebno intrigantan momenat koji govori o grubim propustima u pripremi tima jeste što se na više mesta u odjavnoj špici, autori zahvaljuju nepostojećoj instituciji “Vladi AP Vojvodine”, iako, je statutarni i ustavni termin Pokrajinska vlada. Gruba omaška sa političkom implikacijom koja vređa sve Srbe sa severa države. 

Uz zaključak da je dobro što je Miletić napokon ekranizovan, zamerke na suštinske fakte i važne detalje prete da nadjačaju konačan utisak.
