Pripadnici Ministarstva unutrašnjih poslova, Odeljenja za borbu protiv korupcije, u saradnji sa Ministarstvom poljoprivrede, šumarstva i vodoprivrede, a po nalogu Posebnog odeljenja za suzbijanje korupcije Višeg javnog tužilaštva u Kraljevu, uhapsili su 36 osoba, dok će krivičnom prijavom biti obuhvaćena još jedna osoba, zbog postojanja osnova sumnje da su izvršili krivična dela davanje mita, primanje mita i zloupotreba službenog položaja.

Uhapšeni su N. P. (1984), odgovorno lice PD “Jela univerzal“ iz Ivanjice, vozači u toj firmi V. M. (1976), M. M. (1993), V. D. (1995) i S. M. (1989), vozači u PD “Maja WOOD“ d.o.o. Ivanjica S. P. (1989) i R. B. (1984), kao i 29 čuvara zaposlenih u JP „Srbijašume“, u više šumskih gazdinstava na teritoriji Republike Srbije.

Krivičnom prijavom biće obuhvaćena i tridesetogodišnja žena, odgovorno lice PD „Maja WOOD“, za kojom policija intenzivno traga.

Osumnjičeni N. P. i tridesetogodišnjakinja terete se da su preko vozača zaposlenih u firmama „Jela univerzal“ i „Maja WOOD“, u kojima su oni odgovorna lica, davali mito čuvarima šume kako bi prilikom eksploatacije drveta u otpremnicama unosili podatke neistinite sadržine, čime su oštetili JP „Srbijašume“.

Šumski čuvari su, kako se sumnja, u službenoj dokumentaciji prikazivali manje količine od stvarno utovarenog drveta, odnosno prikazivali da je reč o lošijoj klasi robe od one koju su vozači preuzeli.

Osumnjičenima je određeno zadržavanje do 48 časova i oni će, uz krivičnu prijavu, biti privedeni nadležnom tužilaštvu.
