Na današnji dan, pre 29 godina, napustio nas je jedan od najvećih umetnika koji je živeo i stvarao na ovim prostorima.

Toma Zdravković je bio čovek tuge, bola i pesme. Čovek čiji se život sa dna vinuo do zvezda, i tamo zauvek ostao kao simbol jednog naroda, jednog vremena i jedne umetnosti. Bio je i ostao mit, fenomen i enigma, podjednako koliko je bio jednostavan, običan čovek, kome je život dao vanserijski dar, a sudbina namenila neprolaznu slavu i nesrećne karte. Tomine pesme su postale deo kulture, mentaliteta, deo ljudi, deo onog tla koje se danas naziva bivša Jugoslavija, u kojoj se njegove pesme i dalje pevaju sa istom emocijom kao i u onim prošlim, starim vremenima. Rođen je 20. novembra 1938. godine. Napustio nas je 30. septembra 1991. I nikada nas nije napustio. Kao ni njegove pesme, emocija i duša, i sve ono što je u njima nosio, a što i danas predstavlja trag  koji ne bledi i koji će trajati još dugo posle nas.

U knjizi „Toma Zdravković – 68 neispričanih priča“ uvodna reč, na simboličan i metaforičan način opisuje život i delo ovog velikog umetnika, kroz rečenice koje, kao i njegove pesme, oslikavaju život, vreme, ljubav, tugu i prošlost.

Na današnji dan, pre 29 godina, napustio nas je jedan od najvećih umetnika koji je živeo i stvarao na ovim prostorima.

Toma Zdravković je bio čovek tuge, bola i pesme. Čovek čiji se život sa dna vinuo do zvezda, i tamo zauvek ostao kao simbol jednog naroda, jednog vremena i jedne umetnosti. Bio je i ostao mit, fenomen i enigma, podjednako koliko je bio jednostavan, običan čovek, kome je život dao vanserijski dar, a sudbina namenila neprolaznu slavu i nesrećne karte. Tomine pesme su postale deo kulture, mentaliteta, deo ljudi, deo onog tla koje se danas naziva bivša Jugoslavija, u kojoj se njegove pesme i dalje pevaju sa istom emocijom kao i u onim prošlim, starim vremenima. Rođen je 20. novembra 1938. godine. Napustio nas je 30. septembra 1991. I nikada nas nije napustio. Kao ni njegove pesme, emocija i duša, i sve ono što je u njima nosio, a što i danas predstavlja trag  koji ne bledi i koji će trajati još dugo posle nas.

U knjizi „Toma Zdravković – 68 neispričanih priča“ uvodna reč, na simboličan i metaforičan način opisuje život i delo ovog velikog umetnika, kroz rečenice koje, kao i njegove pesme, oslikavaju život, vreme, ljubav, tugu i prošlost.
