Danas se obeležava Dan zaštite prirode Srbije

Zavod za zaštitu prirode Srbije saopštio je povodom Dan zaštite prirode Srbije koji se obeležava danas, da je taj datum ustanovljen Zakonom o zaštiti prirode 2009. godine kako bi se javnosti predstavio značaj očuvanja prirodne baštine.

Za Dan zaštite prirode u Srbiji odabran je 11. april zato što je toga dana 1949. godine prvi put ustanovljen status jednog područja kao zaštićenog prirodnog dobra, a to su vodopadi u okviru Spomenika prirode „Velika i Mala Ripaljka“ na teritoriji opštine Sokobanja.

U cilju rada na povećanju teritorije pod zaštitom sa aspekta očuvanja prirodnih vrednosti, direktor Zavoda za zaštitu prirode Srbije Aleksandar Dragišić ističe da će u 2021. godini Zavod za nova prirodna dobra u statusu zaštićenih područja uraditi studije zaštite za dolinu Velikog Rzava, kanjon Vučjanske reke, Gornjačku klisuru, Sesalačku pećinu, jezero Ćelije i mnoge druge’.

’’Takođe, završetkom revizije studije zaštite Parka prirode ’Stara planina’ postojeće granice ovog zaštićenog područja biće proširene, dok će nova istraživanja u cilju valorizacije za zaštitu biti pokrenuta na oko 20 područja, od kojih se kao veća izdvajaju planine Zlatar, Jelica i Veliki i Mali Jastrebac“, rekao je Dragišić.

Navedene aktivnosti zaštite prirode u Srbiji realizuju se u skladu sa merama i standardima zaštite prirode u Evropi, budući „da sistem zaštite prirode u Srbiji prati evropske standarde i da se pored prirodnih dobara za koja su doneta akta o zaštiti, rekao je on.

Ta dobra, kako je dodao, zauzimaju 7,66 odsto teritorije Srbije, u ovom sistemu nalaze i područja koja se prostiru na dodatnih 2,04 odsto teritorije naše zemlje, a za koja je pokrenuta procedura proglašenja zaštite objavom na sajtu Ministarstva zaštite životne sredine.

Pored očuvanja prirode u okviru zaštićenih područja, mere zaštite prirodnih vrednosti primenjuju se i na 101 području u okviru nacionalne ekološke mreže koja zauzima oko 22 odsto teritorije Srbije, navodi Aleksandar Dragišić.

Kao deo aktivnosti na dobijanju statusa međunarodne zaštite, Zavod će u 2021. godini pružiti stručnu podršku u pokretanju postupka nominacije Parka prirode „Stara planina” za upis u evropsku i svetsku mrežu geoparkova, kao drugi geopark u Srbiji, kao i pomoć u utvrđivanju potencijala šireg područja Đavolje varoši i ispunjenju kriterijuma, takođe, za članstvo u evropskoj i svetskoj mreži geoparkova, koje vodi Ministarstvo zaštite životne sredine.

Zavod za zaštitu prirode Srbije saopštio je povodom Dan zaštite prirode Srbije koji se obeležava danas, da je taj datum ustanovljen Zakonom o zaštiti prirode 2009. godine kako bi se javnosti predstavio značaj očuvanja prirodne baštine.

Za Dan zaštite prirode u Srbiji odabran je 11. april zato što je toga dana 1949. godine prvi put ustanovljen status jednog područja kao zaštićenog prirodnog dobra, a to su vodopadi u okviru Spomenika prirode „Velika i Mala Ripaljka“ na teritoriji opštine Sokobanja.

U cilju rada na povećanju teritorije pod zaštitom sa aspekta očuvanja prirodnih vrednosti, direktor Zavoda za zaštitu prirode Srbije Aleksandar Dragišić ističe da će u 2021. godini Zavod za nova prirodna dobra u statusu zaštićenih područja uraditi studije zaštite za dolinu Velikog Rzava, kanjon Vučjanske reke, Gornjačku klisuru, Sesalačku pećinu, jezero Ćelije i mnoge druge’.

’’Takođe, završetkom revizije studije zaštite Parka prirode ’Stara planina’ postojeće granice ovog zaštićenog područja biće proširene, dok će nova istraživanja u cilju valorizacije za zaštitu biti pokrenuta na oko 20 područja, od kojih se kao veća izdvajaju planine Zlatar, Jelica i Veliki i Mali Jastrebac“, rekao je Dragišić.

Navedene aktivnosti zaštite prirode u Srbiji realizuju se u skladu sa merama i standardima zaštite prirode u Evropi, budući „da sistem zaštite prirode u Srbiji prati evropske standarde i da se pored prirodnih dobara za koja su doneta akta o zaštiti, rekao je on.

Ta dobra, kako je dodao, zauzimaju 7,66 odsto teritorije Srbije, u ovom sistemu nalaze i područja koja se prostiru na dodatnih 2,04 odsto teritorije naše zemlje, a za koja je pokrenuta procedura proglašenja zaštite objavom na sajtu Ministarstva zaštite životne sredine.

Pored očuvanja prirode u okviru zaštićenih područja, mere zaštite prirodnih vrednosti primenjuju se i na 101 području u okviru nacionalne ekološke mreže koja zauzima oko 22 odsto teritorije Srbije, navodi Aleksandar Dragišić.

Kao deo aktivnosti na dobijanju statusa međunarodne zaštite, Zavod će u 2021. godini pružiti stručnu podršku u pokretanju postupka nominacije Parka prirode „Stara planina” za upis u evropsku i svetsku mrežu geoparkova, kao drugi geopark u Srbiji, kao i pomoć u utvrđivanju potencijala šireg područja Đavolje varoši i ispunjenju kriterijuma, takođe, za članstvo u evropskoj i svetskoj mreži geoparkova, koje vodi Ministarstvo zaštite životne sredine.
