U Užicu će se 11. i 12. septembra održati po prvi put, Međunarodni dečji festival „Trofej Radomir Antić“ . Festival će okupiti oko 1700 mališana uzrasta do 7 do 12 godina iz regiona. Biće to, najavljuju organizatori, pravi festival mladih i fudbala, spektakularan i dostojan imena jednog velikana kakav je Radomir Antić. Promoteri na Festivalu su Ilija Zavišić, Radmilo Ivančević, Milovan Rajevac, Nenad Milijaš, Miloš Krasić i Milan Lane Jovanović Uporedo na dva stadiona u Užicu, jedan u centru koji odnedavno nosi ime Radomira Antića , i drugi u Sportskom centru u Krčagovu, 11. i 12. septembra okupiće se deca na Festivalu fudbala kroz koju će se čuvati uspomena na Radomira Antića. Na konferenciji za novinare na kojoj je najavljenja prelepa manifestacija dr Jelena Raković Radivojević gradonačelnica Užica je istakla da će ova manifestacija prerasti u tradicionalni sportski događaj: -Promocija sporta među mladima, promocija zdravog načina života, timskog duha i svih pravih moralnih vrednosti koje bavljenje sportom donosi, jedini su razlog zbog kojih smo prihvatili inicijativu Sportskog saveza Užice i doneli odluku o pokroviteljstvu ove manifestacije koja je od posebnog značaja za naš grad. Dobili smo i saglasnost porodice Antić tako da im se i ovim putem zahvaljujem. Organizator Festivala „Radomir Antić“ je Sportski savez Užica. Generalni sekretar Dragiša Kuzmanović ističe da su samo pre nekoliko dana dobili inicijativu za organizaciju ovakvog turnira, pa su odmah munjevito reagovali: -Umeli smo da prepoznamo da je ovo manifestacija od opšteg interesa ne samo za naš grad, nego i šire, odmah smo podneli zahteva Gradu Užicu. I oni su brzo reagovali, tako da je sada zaista veliko zadovoljstvo što će se ovaj turnir održavati kod nas. Iako je sve na brzinu odrađeno, siguran sam da ćemo se potruditi da turnir bude besprekorno organizovan, a sigruno da će postati tradicionalan. Radomir Antić je zaslužio da mu se na ovakav način odužimo i čuvamo od zaborava. U organizacionom odobru Festivala je i Milan Čabrić, čija je, uz Milovana Rajevca, i bila ideja za organizaciju ovakvog turnira: -U „debelim „ smo pripremama za organizaciju ove jedinstvene manifestacije u ovom delu Evrope. Pozvane su sve ekipe iz grada Užica, bez kotizacije. Imaćemo učesnike iz najmanje šest zemanja, a svoje učešće već su potvrdile ekipe Crvene Zvezde, Partizana, Vojvodine, Čukaričkog. Precizan broj do sada prijavljenih ekipa nemam, ali sudeći po velikom interesovanju koje već sada vlada, biće tu veliki broj učesnika. Moram se zahvaliti i promoterima koji su sa velikim zadovoljstvom prihvatili da budu deo ove manifestacije. Sve su to velika fudbalska imena, bivši igrači i veliki prijatelji Radomira Antića. I nije slučajno Užice, i ovaj stadion izabrani da budu poprište dešavanja, tako da se nadam da ćemo svi zajedno , a u ovih nekoliko dana sam se uverio zaista da su ljudi operativni i da su sa velikom radošću prihvatili ovu inicijativu, uspeti da napravimo jednu zaista lepu manifestaciju Biće i pratećih sadržaja na festivalu, među kojima je i da će tri dana pre turnira biti održana promocija na Gradskom trgu gde će biti izloženi pehari i medalje. Na koferenciji je bio prisutan i Milovan Rajevac, koji je emotivno govori, a ostali su se obratili video porukom. -Užice je iznedrilo brojne sjajne fudbalere i sportiste, ali sigurno je najveće ime među njima Radomir Antić. Zato ga moramo sačuvati od zaborava. Mislim da je 2010. godine bila jedinstvena siguracija u svetu, da smo u isto vreme nas dvojica koji smo praktično iz istog mesta vodili dve reprezentacije na Svestskom prvenstvu. Verovatno je da niko više nikada neće sa takvim uspehom trenerati Barselonu, Atletiko i Real! Bili smo kao braća. Od njega sam mnogo naučio, stalno sam ga slušao i jednostavno za sve mu hvala! NJegov lik i delo će osati trajno . Užice je grad koji ga je voleo, koji ga je uvek prihvatao i gde je on najradije dolazio.
