U Čačku je u Parku mladosti održan prvi festival zanatskog piva ,,Cug Fest“, nastao kao potreba mladih Čačana za novim interesantnim društvenim događajima. Festival je trajao dva dana i privukao je veliku pažnju ljubitelja ovog napitka. Organizator je ,,ARC“ Čačak uz podršku grada Čačka i Turističke organizacije.

Festival je nastao iz potrebe za popularisanjem zanatskih piva u Gradu na Moravi. Mladi ljubitelji piva okupili su se kako bi uz dobru muziku i hranu degustirali najrazličitije ukuse domaćih piva, a njihova ideja naišla je na neočekivano dobar odziv.

Na festivalu su gostovale srpske pivare koje se bave proizvodnjom domaćeg piva, poput ,,Dogma pivare“, ,,Čarlton pivare“, ,,Inat“, ,,Kabinet“ i ,,Salto pivare“. Pivo se u svakoj od njih priprema po posebnoj recepturi, a ukusi se mogu veoma razlikovati.

Među izlagačima bilo je i onih koji su zbog neočekivanog interesovanja posetilaca ostali bez poslednjih zaliha piva.

Za dobru muziku bio je zadužen dvojac pod nazivom ,,Kišobran“. Ideja je zaživela, a organizatori očekuju da će festival zanatskog piva postati tradicionalna letnja manifestacija.
