Na tradicionalnom Ilindanskom plivačkom maratonu u muškoj konkurenciji najbrži je bio Nikola Ratkov iz Kragujevca, dok je u ženskoj konkurenciji prvo mesto zauzela Marija Stanić iz Novog Sada. Pre ove trke, organizovana je I trka zadovoljstva Borivojeva tabla ,a do cilja prvi je doplivao Muhamed Čolaković iz Novog Pazara. Najbrži takmičar u okviru Ilindanskog plivačkog maratona u konkurenciji od 54 učesnika Nikola Ratkov, ističe da je u ovom sportu najvažniji trening,ali I posvećenost. Nikola je od starta imao ubedljivo vodeću poziciju, koju je držao tokom cele staze. Takmičari su zadovoljni ovogodišnjom organizacijom, a posebno ističu da je plivački maraton važan jer je upisan u kalendar Plivačkog saveza Srbije I boduje se za krajni plasman . Učesnici su plivali od letnje bašte restorana ,,Dom” u Ovčar banji do manastira Nikolje gde je bila okretnica do ciljne pozicije . Staza glavne trke Ilindanskog plivačkog maraton duga je 2 500 metara, a temperatura vode bila je 23,3 stepena. Organizator Ilindanskog plivačkog maratona je Plivački klub Čačak, uz podršku SC Mladost I Tursističke organizacije Čačak,a pod pokroviteljstvom lokalne samouprave. Osim promocije plivanja I zdravog života , ova manifestacija ove godine obveležava I duže od dve decenije postojanja.
