BAJINA BAŠTA-Svečanom sednicom Skupštine opštine , kulturno umetničkim programom i dodelom priznanja zaslužnim pojedincima i firmama danas se obeležava Dan opštine Bajina Bašta. Dan opštine Bajina Bašta se obeležava u sećanje na 12. jul 1858. godine (po starom kalendaru) kada je Karađorđev sin i tadašnji vladajući srpski knez Aleksandar Karađorđević izdao rešenje o osnivanju varošice. Na taj dan formalno je osnovana Bajina Bašta kao moderno gradsko naselje a dotadašnje sresko sedište premešteno iz Rogačice u Bajinu Baštu. Od tada pa sve do danas, na desnoj obali Drine, u podnožju planine Tare, smešten je centar opštine.
