Predsednik Republike Srbije Aleksandar Vučić učestvovao je putem video-linka na konferenciji “Mali Šengen” sa premijerima Severne Makedonije i Albanije, Zoranom Zaevim i Edijem Ramom.
Trojica sagovornika razmatrala su dalje korake u regionalnoj saradnji, kao procesu od vitalnog značaja za napredak Zapadnog Balkana i evropskog puta u celini, saopštila je pres-služba predsednika Republike.
Sagovornici su se saglasili da je zemljama Zapadnog Balkana potrebno članstvo u EU, ali i da je isto toliko Uniji potreban Zapadni Balkan, budući da je region i okružen granicama EU, a zemlje koje streme članstvu dele zajedničke evropske vrednosti.
Aleksandar Vučić, Zoran Zaev i Edi Rama izrazili su želju da četiri evropske slobode – kretanje ljudi, robe, usluga i kapitala, počnu da se primenjuju što pre širom regiona, te da će u tom kontekstu pružiti punu podršku regionalnom zajedničkom tržištu na Samitu Berlinskog procesa, 5. jula.
Svesni smo toga da samo zajedničkim radom i prihvatanjem regionalne saradnje, u okviru različitih regionalnih inicijativa, kao što su zajedničko tržište, regionalni Šengen, zeleni koridori ili Berlinski proces, možemo da približimo naše ekonomije, uvećamo blagostanje naših ljudi i dovedemo velike investicije, koje inače ne bi bile moguće ni za jednog od nas pojedinačno”, jedan je od zajedničkih zaključaka ove video-konferencije.
Sagovornici su se saglasili da se 29. jula sastanu u Skoplju, kako bi napravili pregled napretka u primeni dosadašnjih inicijativa i projekata i potpisali dodatne sporazume između tri zemlje, vezane za sprovođenje obaveza iz Berlinskog procesa, kao i o saradnji i pomoći u slučaju prirodnih katastrofa i olakšicama za trgovinu, izvoz i uvoz.
„Pozivamo i podstičemo naše kolege iz regiona da potpišu i primenjuju slične sporazume, kako bi vizija zajedničkog političkog i ekonomskog prostora širom Zapadnog Balkana uskoro, kroz jedinstveno tržište, postala važan deo svakodnevice naših građana”, poručili su predsednik Srbije i premijeri Albanije i Severne Makedonije.
Sagovornici su posebno naglasili da će i pored kašnjenja u procesu proširenja i dalje nastojati da prepoznaju nove načine, oblasti politike i finansijske instrumente, kako bi sve tri zemlje uvećale doprinos Evropi, ojačale veze sa Evropskom unijom i postepeno integrisale region u jedinstveno evropsko tržište.
Govoreći o zelenoj agendi, sagovornici su uputili zajednički poziv Evropskoj uniji i Sjedinjenim Državama da se pridruže zemljama širom regiona u cilju podrške u razvoju projekata u koje bi moglo da se investira što pre, kako bi se unapredila zaštita životne sredine i povećala široka upotreba obnovljivih izvora, u sklopu primene Ekonomskog i investicionog plana EU i Zelene agende za Zapadni Balkan.
“Naše zemlje imaju ogroman potencijal za održivi rast i razvoj ovog sektora. Zamolićemo za praktičnu podršku kako bismo otkrili koji projekti mogu da unaprede naš region u pogledu izvora obnovljive energije za naše građane i za zelenu energetsku budućnost EU”, istakli su sagovornici tokom video-konferencije “Mali Šengen”.
Zaključili su da samo regionalno povezivanje, uz podršku Evropske unije, može da doprinese opštoj stabilnosti i napretku celog regiona i Evrope.
