U prostorijama Naučno tehnološkog parka u Čačku predstavljena je monografija posvećena nekadašnjoj fabrici ,,Cer”, autora dr Sretena Popovića. Knjiga predstavlja razvojni put fabrike termotehničkih uređaja, od osnivanja 1953.godine , do privatizacije I njenog kraja 2009. godine. Iako su termoakomulacione peći ostavile najveći trag , delatnost fabrike ,,Cer”, bila je usmerena na proizvodnju termotehničkih uređanja I montažu elektroenergetskih objekata. U vreme osnivaja u fabrici je radilo 93 radnika , a u zlatno doba ,,Cera “, 70- 80 godina bilo je zaposleno I više od 2000 . Autor monografije, dr Sreten Popović sa 18 godina 1958. godine zaposlio se u,, Cer”, I od tada je pratio razvoj ove fabrike. Raspad države, ekonomska kriza , sankcije , bombardovanje 1999.godine uticalo je da fabrika koja je poslovala u proseku sa oko 1000 -1800 radnika prestane da posluje. Nakon predstavljanja monografije priređen je I okrugli sto na temu ,,Razvoj investicione opreme kao činioca ekonomskog razvoja “. Cilj je podsećanje na najznačajnije doba ,,Cera”, ali I na efekte savremenog investiranja u današnje vreme.
