Kroz akciju ,,Sad za budućnost”,  Društvo za zaštitu i proučavanje ptica Srbije u saradnji sa Društvom,,  Sove na oprezu ,”,  školama u Čačku podeliće  100 sadnica hrasta lužnjaka. Osim sadnica OŠ,, Ratko Mitrović”, danas je poklonjena i kućica za ptice.

 U zajedničkoj akciji Društva  za zaštitu i proučavanje ptica Srbije i Sove na oprezu prošle godine zasađeno je 60 sadnica hrasta  lužnjaka .

U trenutnoj  prolećnoj sadnji,  sadnice će biti donirane osim  OŠ,, Ratko Mitrović”,  i školama  ,, Dr Dragiša Mišović “,  i ,, Filip Filipović”.Ispred  Društva   ljubitelja ptica i prirode ,,Sove na oprezu”, Zoran Rajičić ,  napominje da su voloneteri  i ljubitelji ptica prošle godine  u Srbiji izbrojali 364.000 ptica, dok je duž Zapadne Morave izbrojano 647, što je najmanji broj do sada.

Direktor OŠ,, Ratko Mitrović”, Đuro Ceranić  napominje da je škola aktivno uključena u ekološke projekte, s obzirom na to da je  jedna  od prvih obrazovnih institucija koja je stekla status eko škole.

Hrast lužnjak  osim u dvorištu matične šlole Ratko Mitrović  biće posađen I u izdvojenim odeljenjima u Parmencu I Pakovraću. Kroz ovu akciju nadležni žele I da kod mladih probude svest o značaju čuvanja prirode.
