Ministar za brigu o selu Milan Krkobabić sastao se danas u Palati Srbija sa predsednikom Akademijskog odbora za selo akademikom Draganom Škorićem, predsednicima Zadružnih saveza Srbije i Vojvodine, Nikolom Mihailovićem i Radislavom Jovanovom i stručnjakom za voćarstvo prof. dr Zoranom Keserovićem. Tema sastanka bio je dalji razvoj i unapređenje zadrugarstva u Srbiji i AP Vojvodini, zajedničko delovanje Akademijskog odbora za selo SANU, zadružnih saveza i predstavnika struke poput univerzitetskih profesora. Ministarstvo za brigu o selu nastaviće dodelu podsticaja za zemljoradničke i poljoprivredne zadruge, ali će svoje delovanje proširiti i na turističke, socijalne i zanatske zadruge ” izjavio je ministar i dodao da će u prvi plan staviti transfer znanja i tehnologija. „Pravićemo edukativne centre u kojima će domaćini moći da dobiju prave informacije i smernice, a to ćemo upotpuniti demonstracionim ogledima savremene proizvodnje“. Krkobabić je prve programe za unapređenje života i rada na selu najavio za prvi kvartal 2021. godine, istovremeno sa aktivnostima za uspostavljanje zakonodavnog okvira koji će na sistemski način tretirati problematiku sela. „Naši seljani jedino udruženi u zadruge mogu da postanu robni proizvođači. I istakao da zadruge ne treba posmatrati isključivo kao proizvođače sirovina, već je veoma važno da one učestvuju na tržištu sa svojim finalnim proizvodima. Prof.dr Zoran Keserović izjavio je da je „neophodno da pokrenemo ekonomski razvoj regija koje nisu blizu velikih gradova, a time ćemo polako rešavati i socijalna i demografska pitanja “. Projekat Vlade Srbije popularno nazvan „500 zadruga u 500 sela“ bio je usmeren upravo na podsticanje i osnaživanje privredne aktivnosti u selima kroz udruživanje malih proizvođača u zadruge i tako stvaranje uslova za ostanak i život stanovništva u seoskim sredinama. Za vreme trajanja ovog projekta osnovano je čak 770 zadruga, a bespovratnim sredstvima pomognut je rad 152 zadruge na teritoriji čitave Republike Srbije, uključujući i Kosovo i Metohiju.
Krkobabić je i u sklopu budućih programa Ministarstva najavio nastavak finansijskih podsticaja za domaćine Srbije udružene u zadruge.
