Pravoslavni hrišćani obeležavaju danas Miholjske zadušnice. Izlazi se na groblja, gde se, prema tradiciji, pale sveće na grobovima najbližih. U znak sećanja na Veliku subotu, kada je Isus Hrist sahranjen i sišao u Ad, ovaj dan u sedmici, posvećen je preminulima. Svake subote liturgijski se sećamo onih koji više nisu sa nama. Posebno se izdvajaju četiri zadušna dana – subote uoči Vaskršnjeg posta, praznika Svete Trojice, Mitrovdana, i današnja, uoči Miholjdana. Molitvama, paljenjem sveća, parastosima i pomenima, sećamo se preminulih srodnika, prijatelja i poznanika i molimo Gospoda za pokoj i mir njihovih duša. Zbog očekivanog većeg broja putnika, od 8 do 16 sati, uz pojačanje svih linija koje voze ka gradskim grobljima, u Beogradu se privremeno uvodi linija 75L, od zgrade Opštine Novi Beograd do Bežanijskog groblja. Na svim beogradskim grobljima danas nije dozvoljen ulazak automobila od 7 do 15 časova. Zabrana ulaska ostaje na Novom, Zemunskom i Topčiderskom groblju, dok će ostala otvoriti kapije za automobile od 15 do 18 časova. Sutra, od 7 do 18 časova, vozilima se može na sva groblja, osim na Novo, Zemunsko i Topčidersko groblje. Za posetioce koji se teže kreću i starije sugrađane, na najvećim grobljima – Lešću, Orlovači, Novoj Bežaniji i groblju Zbeg, obezbeđen je besplatan prevoz od 7 do 15 časova, od ulazne kapije do najudaljenijih parcela.
