Požeški kraj je od davnina poznat kao raskrnica drumskog i železničkog saobraćaja, pa je za većinu putnika ta opština poznata kao tranzitna. Međutim, seoska domaćinstva otkrivaju posebnu dušu tog kraja, a zbog toga je sve više onih koji su odlučili da se bave turizmom i otkriju čari tog dela Srbije. Nedaleko od puta koji povezuje Čačak i Požegu domaćinstvo Cicovića otvorilo je vrata za goste koji žele da upoznaju selo Papratište. Milan je zavoleo devojku iz grada, ali njihovu ljubavnu priču, za razliku od poznate pesme, najbolje odslikava njihov dom. „Selo nudi mnogo, mnogo opušteniji život, mirniji, lepši, čistiji. Jes’ da se radi puno, ali u tome je prioritet“, kaže Marina Cicović. Krave uživaju uz tamburaše, a ceo kraj odiše opuštenom atmosferom, kakva nedostaje onima koji žive u urbanim sredinama. A Papratište je, kažu domaćini, ušuškano na dobrom mestu. „Naši gosti mogu da odu nedaleko je Ovčarsko kablarska klisura, da posete manastire, mogu da odu par kilometara do Gornje Dobrinje, gde je spomenik Miloša Obrenovića, mogu u lepoj prirodi da šetaju, brdima, stazama ovim, što ono kažu, netaknuta priroda“, navodi Milan Cicović. „Sir, kajmak, pršuta, voće, povrće, sve naše, domaće“, dodaje Marina. Nedaleko od Divčibara domaćinstvo Divnić složno radi na unapređenju domaćinstva u kojem su ti ukusi požeškog kraja glavni magnet za goste. „Najviše traže gibanicu, kačamak, projarice, sir, kajmak“, otkriva Mladenka Divnić iz Tometinog Polja. „Imamo svoje hrane, tako da smatramo da je to malo zdravije, nego što kupujemo u ovim radnjama“, kaže Slaviša Divnić. Kad odlaze, priča Marija Divnić, bude im žao, jer se vežu za goste, kao da im neko iz familije odlazi. Upravo seoski turizam ne počiva na čistoj komercijalnoj osnovi, a mogao bi oživeti mnoga opustela sela. „Ne može se živeti od toga, ali se nadamo za narednih pet godina, deset godina, da će to biti. Moraju se napraviti bolji uslovi, apartmani, putevi, da bi gosti dolazili“, objašnjava Milojko Divnić. Pedesetak kilometara uređenih pešačkih i biciklističkih staza delić je bogatstva koje krije Tometino Polje, koje postaje turistička destinacija, koja bi mogla imati dobru budućnost. U selu koje leži na dve reke, porodica Divnić nudi gostima i ispunjava svaku želju, pa čak i muzičku.
