U Čačku je održana prezentacija projekta „Čišćenje jezera Međuvršje“, jednog od tri južno od Dunava koji će finansirati Evropska delegacija i koji predstavlja deo bilateralnog sporazuma između Mađarske i Srbije. Cilj je vraćanje jezera u funkciju kakvu je imalo na početku izgradnje sa čistom vodom važnom kako za biljni i životinjski svet, tako i za ljude. Prema rečima nadležnih, čišćenje će omogućiti investicije u banjski, verski i planinski turizam na čačanskom području, ali i razvijanje ugostiteljstva i drugih delatnosti. Projekat čišćenja, odnosno rekultivacije jezera Međuvršje
sastoji se iz tri dela. Prvi deo su pripremne radnje u kojima je Čačak već dve,
tri godine i bez kojih ne bi ušao u bilateralni sporazum između Mađarske i
Srbije za finansiranje investiciono tehničke dokumentacije. Realizaciju projekta finansiraće Evropska delegacija,
resorno ministarstvo i grad iz budžeta. Svi zakonski rokovi su ispoštovani,
rekla je pomoćnica gradonačelnika Čačka Mirjana Đoković. Lokacijski uslovi,
podloge, situacioni planovi, neke su od pripremnih radnje koje su već
obavljene. Današnjoj prezentaciji prisustvovao je i državni sekretar u
Ministarstvu zaštite životne sredine dr Branislav Blažić. On je rekao da je Čačak
i Moravički okrug u pogledu realizacije projekata u oblasti zaštite životne
sredine korak ispred svih u Srbiji. Vrednost projekta je oko 35 miliona evra. Nadležni kažu da
će Međuvršje biti prvo jezero ne samo u Srbiji, već i u regionu gde će biti
stvoreni savremeni uslovi za nadzor i stanje jezera i praćenje bujičnih voda, a
sve će to omogućiti zaštitu od poplava.
