Po jedanaesti put, Trgom kneza Mihaila, uz kompoziciju Johana Štrausa „Slepi miš“, odjekivali su sinhroni koraci maturanata Gimnazije „Takovski ustanak“ i Ekonomsko-trgovačke škole „Knjaz Miloš“. Više od 180 maturanata, obučenih u plave i crvene majice, sa kišobranima bele boje, plesalo je sa svojim vršnjacima iz cele Evrope. Maturante je, u ime opštine Gornji Milanovac, koja je i pokrovitelj „Maturantskog plesa“, pozdravila zamenica predsednika Jadranka Dostanić. Ona je istakla važnost ove manifestacije, jer maturanti, plešući sinhronizovano sa vršnjacima iz Evrope, savlađuju sve prepreke i rastojanja i stvaraju bolji svet. „Želim vam puno uspeha u odabiru zanimanja i daljem školovanju, ostanite vedri, nasmejani i, pre svega, dobri mladi ljudi. Kao takvi, bićete nada svih nas u bolje sutra. Na nama koji vodimo opštinu Gornji Milanovac, ostaje da se svim snagama trudimo kako bismo vam obezbedili još bolje uslove, jer gde god otišli, opština Gornji Milanovac vas čeka“, poručila je Jadranka Dostanić, zamenica predsednika opštine Gornji Milanovac. Uz opštinu Gornji Milanovac, kao pokrovitelja, tehničku podršku Kulturnog centra, pomoć plesnog kluba „Domingo“, zalaganje profesora Nenada Nešovića, kao i profesora srednjih škola, plesom je proslavljen još jedan završetak srednjoškolskog obrazovanja milanovačkih maturanata.
